Walberto's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped Incremento de su producción agrícola.
Walberto is an enterprising young 20-year-old man. He lives at home with his parents, where he shares a room with his younger brothers. Ever since he was quite young, Walberto has helped his parents farm, since he realized that his siblings are very young and are busy with their studies. For this reason, he decided to start planting potatoes on rented farmland, which he pays for on an annual basis. The first few years were not very profitable, so he switched to irrigated land, where his potatoes grow better and he can produce abundant harvests. He takes very good care of his land, since his income depends on his production, and this way he can help support his younger siblings. Walberto takes pleasure in his work, and borrows his parents' donkeys so that he can transport the many sacks of potatoes he has accumulated to a lower-elevation area, then to the city of Tarma, where he will sell them. This is Walberto's fourth loan from Microfinanzas PRISMA; he has repaid all of his previous loan installments punctually. Walberto is very funny and clever and always knows how to make the other members of his village bank laugh. In this loan cycle, he has reiterated his commitment to making all of his payments on time. The 2000 soles he is requesting will be used to help him produce a more bountiful harvest. He will buy everything he needs for planting potatoes so that he will feel that he is helping out his siblings even more than he currently is.
