Malike's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some sheep for fattening and resale and to help bolster her income.

Malike's story

Malike, age 58, is a widow and the mother of three children. She has a secondary education and has been involved in animal husbandry and agriculture for many years. Thanks to her very hard work, she currently has four cows and 20 sheep on her farm. She also grows barley and potatoes for resale on 0.65 hectares of her land. Malike makes a monthly income of about 6,000 som (KGS). This amount of money, however, is not enough to provide for the needs of her family. For this reason, and in order to further expand her business, Malike has turned to Bai Tushum Bank and requested a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy sheep for fattening and resale. Malike will be using the earnings from her loan to further increase her activity and to take care of her grandchildren's education.
