Linderos Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep.

Linderos Group's story

In a very peaceful community in the State of Mexico, originated an integrated group of very happy and hardworking persons who still preserve their original tongue, which is Mazahua. They also conserve traditions and cultural expressions; a large part of the population makes a living raising animals, especially sheep, pigs, chickens, and roosters. It goes without saying that they feel a profound appreciation for the earth that gives them, among other riches, valuable corn.

Virginia, a woman proud of her roots, is very happy; she is, above all, hardworking and respectful. Her family is composed of her husband, Nicolas, who works in the construction industry, and her four children, of whom three are studying.

"My only goal is that my children can complete a professional career which will help them achieve their own goals", she expressed with enthusiasm. Vicki, as they affectionately call her, has made a living raising sheep for more than 12 years. She counts on broad experience inherited from her mother. One of the things that she most likes is observing how they each develop until reaching the optimum size for sale. She says, "They are animals that do not present much difficulty because they are accustomed to the climate of the region."

With the new loan opportunity, she will buy four more sheep to complete her month's production. It goes without saying that she is very thankful to VFMexico for the confidence and motivation that they pump into her and her colleagues. The other members of the group are Alicia, who will invest in a grocery store; Adelina, Maria, Guadalupe, Marcela, Francisca, Martina, and Paula - who will invest in raising sheep - and Leticia, who will invest in products for a convenience store.
