A loan helped to buy food to feed her chickens and ducks.

Thanh Luong 5 Group's story

Tranh, who is 40, is an ethnic Thai lady who is married and has two sons, ages 18 and 14. She lives crowded with her mother-in-law, husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and two children in an old ethnic Thai traditional stilt house.

Her family mainly relies on many kinds of agricultural production to earn a living, including growing rice, corn, and vegetables and raising pigs, buffaloes, cows, chickens, and ducks. This is the fourth time that she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program, and she will use it to buy food for the chickens and ducks.

Tranh hopes that her investment will contribute to improving her family's income. She dreams that her family will have better living conditions and her children will have a good future. In the picture, Tranh stands at the first from the right.
