Josphine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to construct a cow shed and buy cow feed.

Josphine's story

Josphine is a 39-year-old married lady. She is a mother of three children aged 22, 18, and 10 years. They are all in school. Her husband is a driver and she is a dairy cow farmer.

Josphine has two Friesian dairy cows that she likes taking care of and nurturing. She keeps poultry as well. Each cow produces 20 liters of milk a day, which she takes to the dairy company. The cows require a lot of attention, especially in shelter, quality feed, and other nutrients. With a Kiva loan, Josphine will construct a good cow shed for the cows and buy better grade feed that will boost their growth and increase their milk production. She will use the profit to pay her loan and grow her business.

She supplies milk to the community and also gives business to veterinary offices and feed manufacturers. This is her first loan. Her dream is to fully commercialize her dairy cow farming and poultry keeping and have over 20 cows and 1,000 poultry in the next 10 years.
