A loan helped to purchase additional ingredients such as cassava, sugar, milk and flour.

Nimfa's story

Nimfa is a 46-year-old married woman and the mother of three grown children from Bilar, Bohol. She earns a living through selling snack foods like cassava suman (comprised of grated cassava, brown sugar, and coconut cream, the mixture is wrapped and sealed individually using banana leaves and steamed). She also manages a sari-sari (variety) store, and sells basic household commodities.

The photo shows that Nimfa was done peeling the cassava ready for grinding. It is the main ingredient for her food vending business.

As of now, Nimfa is asking for a loan to purchase additional ingredients such as cassava, sugar, milk and flour. With this, she will be able to improve her daily production and her income will increase. Thus, she will be able to manage her finances and settle her obligations on time.

She hopes to make her business a success. Moreover, she wants to save money for expansion purposes in the years to come.
