Chan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a motorbike for her children to use to go to work.

Chan's story

At the age of 51 years old, Chan works very hard, alone, on a small rice field behind her house in Dei Lou Village, Trapeang Preah Commune, Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She is a widowed mother of four children. Even though four of them got married, they are still in their parent's support. The daily profit for her household is USD 3 a day.

So far, Chan has been a farmer for about twenty years. Her family doesn't have a motorbike to use yet. She wants to buy a motorbike for her children to use to go to their workplace. Based on her daily income, she cannot support her goal.

Currently, Chan would like to request her first loan from Kiva to buy a motorbike for her children. She is thankful to all lenders for the financial support.
