Minata is the woman holding the ram by the horn in the photo. She is from Mali. She is 46 years old and married to a farmer. She is the mother of 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. One boy and one girl go to school. Her business is buying animals (sheep) to raise. After a few months she resells them at a profit and the profits are reinvested in expenses for the children like clothing, school fees and others.

Minata has been operating her business raising sheep for more than 12 years. She is requesting a loan from the RMCR office to expand her business by increasing the number of animals she is raising. Minata makes her purchases and sales at the local market.

Her wish is to own land and animals for her children and become a large breeder in the community.
