Agustina's story

Agustina is a person of modest character, humble at 44 years of age, and is in a common law marriage. She studied until primary school, and lives in a house that she owns, which is of rustic construction made with local materials with adobe walls and a tile roof. She has basic services of electrical energy and water. Her home is located in the community of 15 of October of the province of Tiraque. She has three people who count on her economically who are her children.
She works in agriculture. She says she produces the following products depending on the season: potatoes, broad beans in greens pods, barley in grain, maize in grain, and others. All the mentioned products are grown in an area of 2.3 hectares, which have an irrigation system, which is applied through furrows because of flooding. She has the need of asking for a loan to be able to buy hen droppings, an organic manure, with the goal of generating a bigger income and have a better family situation.
