Jose Carlos's story

José is a 62-year-old single father who lives with his children in his own house. For 10 years he has made a living from selling school supplies, selling everything related with stationery, pencils, notebooks, glue, crayons, dictionaries, photocopies, and others. Sales are done daily in his business located in his house. His customers are neighbors, friends, and people passing through the area. He also works with livestock on his own farm. He lives in the city of San Lorenzo valley south of Honduras. He is an enterprising man with the desire to progress, who fights hard to improve his quality of life. José is requesting a loan to buy notebooks, assorted pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and colored and white paper, to offer more variety of products in his business and thus improve his income. With the support of this loan he aims to improve his income and quality of life. He is very grateful to Kiva for the support given. His dream is to continue improving his quality of life.
