Faith's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a water tank to collect rain water for both domestic and farm use.

Faith's story

Faith is a hardworking smallholder woman from the Thika area of Kenya. The main source of her income is milk and crops.

Faith enjoys dairying above any other income-generating activity she is involved in. She owns 2 high-breed Frisian cows that produce enough milk for her family's consumption and surplus for sale.

Faith has one problem that she wishes to tackle with the help of your loan. There is nothing like a tap water system in her village where she comes from. She relies on pails to fetch and store water for domestic and agricultural use.

Faith is seeking a loan to buy a water tank. The tank will hold the same volume of water as at least 50 buckets. This investment will ensure a continuous supply of water on Faith's farm. Rain water will be harvested to fill the tank. The impact of this loan is not only to Faith's family but also a step forward for the community in her village to start adopting best water management practices.
