My name is Celeste Croxton-Tate. I grew up in Roxbury, Massachusetts in a tight knit community filled with a melting pot of cultures. In the six unit building that I grew up in with my father, mother and two sisters there were families from the South, Trinidad, Jamaica, Guyana and Latin America. I remember everyone's door was always open and it always smelled amazing. I think that is where my love for cooking started. I graduated from Boston Latin School in 1988. From there I attended Northeastern University for two years, transferred to University Of Massachusetts Boston, took time off to get married and start a family. I have two awesome sons Victor, 23 and Lake, 21. I married Joe (my second marriage) August 25th, 2015. I just commenced my twentieth year as a Boston Police Officer and I am the owner of Lyndigo Spice®, LLC. My dreams for the future are to retire early from my current profession and focus on building my Lyndigo Spice® brand. While doing that I would like to partner with or create a program that helps domestic violence victims and homeless women get back on their feet. I lost my older sister Rachel Lynn to domestic violence on June 6th, 1983 and I am a domestic violence survivor. I would like to show courageous women that there is life after tragedy.
