Simon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more stock to his stationery store and buy a photocopier.

Simon's story

Simon is 64 years old and married with 11 children. Most of them are working apart from the last two, aged 16 and 9 years, who are still in school.

He owns a shop that deals with stationery, a photocopier machine and M-pesa (money) services. He is a very hardworking and jovial man who is able to interact with people very well. He believes in hard work and has ensured that his children get the best of education and live comfortable lives.

His main challenge is getting enough capital to fully stock his stationery shop and buy an extra photocopier machine. With this loan, he will add more stock and acquire a newer and more efficient photocopier machine that will increase his daily sales. This will eventually boost his business and increase his profit. He will use the profit to pay school fees for his children and provide for their upkeep, as well as paying back the loan.

He has two employees at the shop and also employs others to supply the stationery. He has previously taken two loans of similar amounts and repaid very well within one year. He is glad to get access to funding.
