but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase more inventory items and expand her grocery store business.
Pramila And Group's story
Pramila, 51, is a mother of three children from the Khurda district in Orissa. She runs her own grocery shop where she sells rice, wheat, lentils, oil, sugar etc. in her locality. Her monthly household income is Rs. 10,000 on which the entire family of five subsists on. Rs. 9,000 goes towards expenses, leaving them with very less savings. Hence, to this end Pramila wants to scale up her business and stock more items in her shop. Similarly, the other women who have joined hands with her to seek a loan also want to expand their respective businesses. Together, Pramila and nine other female entrepreneurs seek a loan of Rs. 100,000 from Swayamshree, Milaap's partner. They are grateful to their lenders.
