Isabelle's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the raw materials and labour for 200,000 bricks.

Isabelle's story

Isabelle is 52 and married. Aside from cart transport, her husband also helps her with this business. The household's income sources are diverse : sale of charcoal and firewood, rental of a house.
They have four children, two of whom are already married and the two others help their parents with the businesses.
The profits from previous activity have been used to build the house which is rented out.

Isabelle makes and sells bricks. It is currently the season for making them in this locality. She has five year's experience. The profitability of the operation depends on the production volume, which is determined by the amount of capital deployed. The previous loans have enabled her to increase the quantity produced.
This is her tenth loan from CEFOR for developing the business. It will allow her to finance the labour and materials to produce 200,000 bricks. The market is stable.
The goal is to increase brick production each season, in order to be in a position to buy another plot of land for constructing a house, and also suitable for selling charcoal and firewood.
