Yobal Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase adhesive, varnish, sand paper, brushes, and nails.

Yobal Group's story

Surrounded by canals, mango trees and rivers of fresh water, a small sugar cane municipality of Veracruz is found. There, they have the famous cattle fair, also called La Ganadera. It is organized by the local cattle farmers and in it, they show the artisan, industrial, and cultural production, and services, in addition to the obvious show of cattle raised in the region.

In the same way, the group "Y" was created there, whose members are: José who sells traditional foods; Marina, refreshments; Agustín, carpentry; Amada, traditional food and cosmetics; Lorena, chicken and clothing; Lucia, stationery; Celeni, clothing, raising chickens, and traditional food.

Agustín is a humble person with a very firm sense of work. "Life has taught me everything that I know, to help my children with their homework and my trade have been my best teacher," he said since he was not able to complete his primary education. However, this has not been an impediment to begin his own carpentry business. In the backyard of his house, he built his shop himself. At first, he had few tools and sometimes borrowed the ones he needed. As his customers increased, he managed to get everything he needed. "There's nothing like having your own things," he said with a smile. With the help of one of his children, he works sanding, polishing, repairing, measuring, varnishing, etc. "My son has shown an interest in the trade and this pleases me, I will teach him everything I know," he added.

On the other hand, the loans that VFMéxico has granted him mean a great opportunity for growth for Agustín. At this time, he wants to invest in adhesives, varnish, sand paper, brushes, nails, etc.

One of his claims to fame is that he offers service 365 days a year on a very flexible schedule and under a very high quality process. "Even if it is a board to chop vegetables, I have to sand it and measure it according to the request of my customer, in addition to assuring myself that it isn't unaligned,” he shared.
