Terang Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a few sacks of meal to feed pigs at a price of 300,000 per sack plus several sacks of dried corn to be mixed.

Terang Group's story

The Terang group is composed of five women and chaired by Tarotji. Tarotji, whose hand is raised up, is a 42 year-old married woman with three children. The eldest has a job, while the other two are still in university and junior high school and still in her care.

In her daily activity as a housewife, Tarotji has a pig breeding business. She has been involved in this business for 12 years. At the moment, she only has a pregnant sow as she has just lost another three because of diseases. She loves to do this business as she wants to support her husband - Adolof, a 43-year-old truck driver, in making more money for her family.

At the moment, she needs money to buy dried corn and fodder. The sow is going to give birth soon and she needs fodder for them. Therefore, she needs money to do so.

Along with other members, Tarotji formed the group and has requested a loan totaling of IDR 8,750,000. Similarly, other members would like to use their loans for their own business and other interests. They hope their planning in their businesses are running smoothly and can earn more profit in the future. They are thankful for Kiva's involvement in providing loan for them through TLM.
