Ina Ama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stock such as one sack of rice, sugar, coffee, snacks, soap, shampoo, etc.

Ina Ama Group's story

Katarina (whose hand is raised) is a 36-year-old, married woman with a daughter who is 2 years old. Katarina is the representative of the Ina Ama group. The other women are the additional members in the existing group. They are in the first loan cycle.

Katarina is a talented and enterprising woman who uses her skill to earn more income. She owns a weaving business and has been involved in this for two years. In addition, she loves to farm vegetables such as cabbage and kale at the backyard. She is thankful for the income from the business that enables her to support her husband, Ramos, who works as a motorcycle taxi driver.

She even was thinking to operate a kiosk business. Now she has a small building for a kiosk business; however, she needs money to buy all the stock such as one sack of rice, sugar, coffee, snacks, soap, shampoo, etc.

She was so excited when a neighbour asked her to join the group. Along with other women, she has requested a loan totaling IDR 9,000,000 from TLM, Kiva’s partner. The other women also hope the loan will helpful for their own businesses.
