Françoise has 22 years of experience in selling lengths of African print cloth, an activity she began with her deceased husband and that she continued after her husband's death. This business has helped pay school fees for her seven children, although, from time to time, her family expenses noticeably reduce her working capital.

Françoise hopes in future to build a house and to open another sales point for her daughter who will soon finish her studies. Françoise is the woman who is standing, wearing a black pagne in the photo.
