Tupendane Afrikana Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cupboards, seats and ingredients for delicious meals.

Tupendane Afrikana Group's story

Esther is a married mother of two children who are still in school. She is in her mid forties and she works at her own food stall famously known as "Mama-Lishe" in Swahili. She has been in this business for more than twenty years. She normally works from 8 am to 8 pm and she is making some great monthly profit.

This will be Esther's and the Tupendane Afrikana Group's first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She is applying for this loan to improve her food vending business. She plans to buy cupboards, seats and to buy more kilos of sugar, rice, beans, groceries and ingredients.

She dreams of having a restaurant some day. She will share this loan with her fellow group members of "Tupendane Afrikana" and they will be responsible for paying back the entire loan in full at maturity.
