Jissela Judith's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new items of clothing and make improvements to her shop, so she can provide a better service to her customers.

Jissela Judith's story

Jissela is a 24-year-old young woman who lives in the city of Santo Domingo, a sector which is well-known in the country for being a commercial area.

Jissela has been able to maintain and improve her business through these 2 loans which Kiva and Fundación Alternativa were able to provide for her. She has a shop where she sells American clothing and now has several years' experience. With the loans she has bought more merchandise and has grown as a micro-businesswoman.

Now with this new loan she wants to make improvements to her shop, fix her clothing rails and buy more clothing to stock up. In the future she hopes to have more branches so she can provide work for more people. Currently she has a single mother helping her to serve her customers.

Jissela feels happy about the support she has had over this time and guarantees that she will invest the money very well.
