30-year-old Anju is an ambitious entrepreneur who hails from the South Dinajpur district in West Bengal. She is the mother of two girl who go to school. She grows paddy for a living and sells the rice. The household income is 5,000, most of which goes towards funding her two daughters education. But as her children are growing up, the expenses of the household are increasing. She is finding it hard to sustain her family with the income she currently earns.

This is why she has taken the decision to expand her business. She plans to purchase raw materials to scale up her paddy production and sell more rice. She expects her monthly income to increase by Rs. 1,600. This will help her manage the expenses of the household better.
