Hilda Amparo's story

Hilda is 42 years old and lives with her husband and 4 dependent children. She lives in her own home, located in the town of La Cuesta, San Lorenzo Valle, in southern Honduras.

She has earned a living for 5 years through her business making and selling tortillas. Her customers are friends, people that pass on her street and neighbours who visit her daily. She is a hard-working woman and wants to get ahead in life.

Hilda is asking for a loan to buy corn, logs, lime and also to improve her home by building a bedroom for her son. With the support of this loan, she can improve her income. She is very grateful to Prisma and Kiva as this is her fifth loan and it has helped her a lot in her business.

Her dream is to have better living conditions by improving her income and home.
