Maria Eugenia's story

This is María, a young woman who is in a common law marriage and has a six year old daughter. She lives in the town of Amaga, in a humble home. Her spouse works. She takes care of the home, but in order to help with the household expenses, she has a glass case outside her home where she sells jewelry items such as earrings, bracelets, necklaces and personal use products.

An increase in sales has motivated her to continue with her business. Her perspective changed greatly. Now she wants to fight to obtain a commercial locale and achieve economic independence. With the goal of improving her sales, increasing her inventory and creating sustainability in her business, María seeks a loan to buy steel jewelry items.
