Noong Luong 43 Group's story
Mrs. Hong, 33, is a Thai ethnic lady who has been married and become the mother of three little girls. She lives with her husband and her children in a Thai ethnic traditional stilt house in a small remote village. Her family mainly relies on agricultural production to earn a living with plenty of activities such as growing rice and raising pigs, chickens, etc. Her family has been recognized as a poor household by the government. As a result, Hong works very hard with great effort to increase production and income for her family. This is the third time that she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program and she will use the loan to buy food for the pigs. She hopes that her business will go well and bring good income to her family. Mrs. Hong dreams that her family will soon escape from poverty and that her children will have a bright future. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
