Yadie's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fertiliser for growing peanuts, okra and onions.

Yadie's Group's story

Yadie, dressed in a yellow outfit with the pouch in her hand, is a member of a group of twelve farmers who live and work in the village of Tabacoro-Tian, in Mali. Yadie, who is 45 years old, lives in an extended family of 23 people, including 9 children - 2 of whom are school educated.
She is a farmer through family tradition, and in order to ensure food security; however she has to overcome problems such as a lack of farming equipment and labour.
She is signed up to myAgro for the improved yields. For her second year with myAgro, Yadie has bought fertiliser for growing peanuts and okra on her 1/8th hectare field and a small plot for garden vegetables.
With this purchase, Yadie hopes to be able to increase her yields in order to raise sheep and to ensure self-sufficiency in food.
