Alfred's story

Alfred Y. is a fifty-five year old man. He is married and has six children, four sons and two daughters. Some are in senior high and junior high schools. Others are out of school and married. He lives with his wife and children in a rented apartment in a town called Takorase. Takorase is farming and a trading community in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Alfred runs a drugstore in his community. He sells drugs such as paracetamol, syrups and all other kinds of tablets. His drugstore is located on one of the main streets in the community. He procures the drugs from big pharmacy shops in nearby towns. Alfred has been in business for fifteen years and wants a loan to procure drugs in bulk. He is hopeful to give his children the best of education.
