Imena Group's story

Gloriose is 38 years old and married with one child, who is 11 years old .She sells rice, beans, sugar, soap and bananas from her stand which opens from 7 am until 10 pm every day except on the weekend. She has three years of experience in this work. She is the leader of her group, which is called "IMENA " in the local language and she is the first on the first line with a book in her hands.

Gloriose has requested a loan from Kiva lenders via Vision Fund Rwanda Company in order to expand her business of a small retail shop. With this profit,Gloriose will save money for the future, pay school fees for her children and reinvest in her business.
