Patatousba Group's story

Sylvie is responsible for the Patatousba group. She is in good health, and is married and mother to four children. Her eldest child is 17 years old and her youngest one year and four months old. She has three children who go to school and four dependents.

Sylvie sells fruit and has been doing this for the past ten years. She gets her supplies in the market at Toecin. With the money she is granted she is planning to buy two cartons of bananas and two cartons of oranges to sell to her customers. She wants to use the profits she makes as a result of the loan to boost her business. Her ambitions are, on the work front, to expand her fruit-selling business, and with regard to her family, to help out her husband with the family expenses.
