Angelina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to start a Moringa farm: to purchase fertilizer, pesticides, get adequate water, farm management training and to hire tractor time to clear the land for planting.
Angelina is a mother of 6 six children and also a grandmother to amazing grandchildren. She and her husband live in Lunga Lunga, a small humble village in Kenya, both working really hard as farmers to raise their living standards. They both want to improve their farm and add more crops. Angelina’s biggest dream is that one day she will be able to take care of her two grandchildren who are orphaned. She owns a 20 year land in the village where she plans to start Moringa tree farming. Moringa is a superfood with a growing global demand. Its leaves are packed with nutrients and its seeds produce oil. Moringa has a ready market and Angelina would not have to look for buyers after harvesting the plant. She will not have to worry about transportation to the market since the customers will buy straight from the farm. Angelina will be able to sell Moringa seeds and leaves to repay her loan and start to earn enough money to help her with a few of the projects she hopes to accomplish. The loan will be used to start a Moringa farm. She will use the money to purchase fertilizer, pesticides, adequate water, farm management training and to hire a tractor to prepare the land for the planting. This loan is a chance for something greater. It is a chance to pull her life out of threatening poverty.
