Nyogbo Noo No Okwe Group's story

Lydia is 53 years old and a businesswoman. She is a member of Nyogbo noo no okwe Group. Nyogbo noo no okwe Group has three members.

Lydia is at the left side of the picture. She sells canned fish, canned tomato paste, garri (quick-cooking manioc), bags of rice, etc. Lydia has been in the business for the past three years. Her business is open six days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lydia established her business to help support her family. She is married, with two children, ages 22 and 20. She provides food from the profit she gets from her business.

Lydia and her group members need a loan totaling 8,300 GHS, of which she is entitled to 3,500 GHS. She will use the loan to buy additional canned fish, canned tomato paste, garri (quick cooking manioc), bags of rice, etc., for her business. She hopes this loan will help her generate more profit to support her family.

In the future, Lydia plans to save more money to provide for her children's university education. She believes that educating her children to university level will better the lives of her family.

Abibatu and the rest of the group thank you for your support.
