Waukae Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped stock her cafe with sacks of rice, beans and cans of cooking oil and to buy a brand new gas cooker.

Waukae Group's story

Sharifa, who is in her late 30's, Is married and she's a mother of three school-going children. She is a hard working woman who has been in the customer service industry for over five years. She owns a small cafe that provides food services to her customers. She normally opens her cafe at 8 a.m to 9 p.m for every working days and she's making some great profit.

This will be her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, Sharifa used her previous loan as capital for financing her operation and expanding her small cafe, by adding more seats and cupboards. She also used the remaining amount of her previous loan to pay the rental fee. Right now she's happy that her business is going so well and she managed to pay back her previous credit amount in full.

She really appreciates Kiva for the good support given to her loan group "WAUKAE" which is doing great as well. Sharifa is now applying for this loan to restock her cafe with more sacks of rice, beans and cans of cooking oil. She also want to buy a brand new gas cooker so as to upgrade her service speed to match with the on-going customer demand.

Sharifa is dreaming of opening a mini-restaurant once her profit increases and she will share this loan with her fellow group member. They will hold each other accountable for paying back their entire loan amount at maturity.
