Hanah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fertilizer, pesticides, get adequate water and farm management training, and to hire a tractor to clear the land for planting the farm.

Hanah's story

Hanah is a 38-year-old woman with five children and a husband. They live on a humble piece of land in Kishushe, a small village on the coast of Kenya. They own six acres of land, four of which are cultivated. One of her children is at home trying to find a way to attend high school, while the other three children are attending primary school.

Hanah has a dream that one day she can provide a way for her all of her children to attend high school to get the best education that they can receive. She also wants to change the feeding habits of her family by one day getting livestock. Hanna wants all of her children to live healthy and successful lives.

Hanah's loan will be used to start a Moringa farm. Moringa is a superfood with a globally growing demand. The seeds produce oil with medicinal benefits and the leaves are packed with nutrition. The loan will be used to purchase fertilizer, pesticides, get adequate water and farm management training, and to hire a tractor to clear the land for planting the farm. This loan is a chance at something greater, a chance to pull them out of life-threatening poverty
