José Carmen's story

José went to school through the ninth grade. His wife works doing the household chores. He has four children, but only two of them are still dependent on their parents. José works in farming and raising cattle. He has been in these lines of work almost all his life. He also raises chickens. He gets up at 5:00 a.m. each day and walks ten minutes to get to where he has his crops. In the afternoons he takes care of his cattle; his children help him. José will use this loan to buy two calves and also to buy supplies for his corn crop. His dreams are to improve his house and keep working hard to make his dreams a reality and that his children would become professionals.
