Anarkul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase some steers for fattening and resale in order to help bolster her income.
Anarkul is 62 years old, widowed, and has three children who help her as much as possible. Anarkul has secondary education, and has been engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture for almost her whole life. Currently on her farm she has four cows, ten sheep, and two horses. Anarkul also cultivates potatoes, alfalfa, and barley on 3.6 hectares of irrigated land. Anarkul sells milk and agricultural products to local residents. Her monthly income is about 10,000 som (KGS), a sum which is terribly inadequate for getting by and developing the business. Since Anarkul's whole business is ecologically friendly, home-grown, and her products are delicious, she enjoys a large demand. Anarkul has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) in order to buy steers with the goal of feeding them up and selling them. Anarkul plans to invest the funds from the loan in the further increase of her livestock numbers, and wants to save for her son's wedding.
