Thun's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a hygienic latrine and septic tank and to dig a pond to use.

Thun's story

THUN is 45 years old. She is the widowed mother of four single children. THUN is a reliable person who lives in Kandoeng Meas Village, Trapeang Chong Commune, Bakan District, PURSAT Province, Cambodia. To make a living, THUN has been involved in farming. Currently, she earns approximately USD 10 per day.

THUN is encouraged to instill healthy living conditions, safeguard her family's health and protect the environment. So now she would like to apply for a KIVA loan via HKL in the amount USD 1,250. She will use this loan to build a hygienic latrine and septic tank to improve her household sanitation practices for the sake of her family. With another portion she would like to dig a pond to use.

She expresses her thanks to all Kiva lenders for showing their interest in poor fellows like her.
