Mariana's Group's story

Mariama, in the first row and holding a booklet, is a member of a group of nine producers working and living in the village of Sima, in Mali. She became a farmer per family tradition. She is 34 years old and has six children, of whom four are in school. She decided to sign up with myAgro for the payment system.

For her first year with myAgro, Mariama bought fertilizer for growing peanuts and okra on a ⅛ hectare parcel of land. Through this purchase, she is counting on increasing her yields in order to realize her dream of working in commerce and covering her children’s wedding costs.
