Cholpon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase additional sheep for fattening and resale.

Cholpon's story

Cholpon repaid her loan, having used it as directed. She is grateful to the Kiva fund and everyone, who had helped her with the financing. Today, her business contains 2 cows, 8 sheep and goats. She also grows perennial herbs for preparing hay on 0.66 hectares of land. To continue developing her business, Cholpon requested a loan in the amount of 20,000 som (KGS) from the Bai Tushum Bank to buy sheep for fattening up and resale. Cholpon plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing her livestock headcount and saving money to repair her house in the future.
