Razia's story

Razia is a 46-year-old married woman living in the area of Multan, Pakistan. She is a mother of eight children.

Razia is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the entire family. She has been running an embroidery business for nine years to meet the family’s expenses. Her embroidery business is very famous in the area, and that is the reason her business runs well. Due to good relations her business has increased.

Razia wants to buy raw materials such as Hand-Embroidery kits, ribbon, needles and an embroidery machine from the market. Razia handles her transactions with her customers. She has become an expert in the embroidery business. So, Razia requested a loan so she will be able to buy raw materials from the market.

Razia wants to meet the demand for bridal dresses. That is why she wants to buy thread, fancy cloth, sequins, and beads of various colors in advance, to have in stock. She requires some capital to buy the desired items as she does not have sufficient cash on hand.

Therefore, Razia humbly requested a loan from BRAC Pakistan. Through this loan, she will be able to buy the thread, fancy cloth, sequins, and beads of various colors that she needs.
