Yehowa Da Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some bags of maize, fresh fish, cooking oil, firewood and other ingredients for the production of kenkey.

Yehowa Da Group's story

This group of five members was set up in December 2010 and is made up of women who have experience in the work process. They all run small businesses as their various activities.

Mercy, who has five years experience in her business and is standing on the far right of the photo, is the featured borrower of the group. She is a 42-year-old married woman and the mother of three children. She sells kenkey and fried fish.

With this new loan, she will use her portion of the loan to buy some bags of maize, fresh fish, cooking oil, firewood and other ingredients for the production of kenkey.

Mercy's profit will be used to repay the loan and help her husband with the daily outgoings and with their children's school fees, medical expenses and clothing.

Mercy and her counterparts will be very grateful if their needs are met.
