A loan helped to buy three superior-quality piglets and feed.

Sari Pertami Group's story

There is something encouraging to tell about the development of the Sari Pertami group. After passing some loan cycle, all members of the group can pay off and some members can save their profit. In the period of the loan, they can sell the pigs at a satisfying price so that they can keep most of the profit for working capital. Three members left the group after they had enough savings to continue the pig business. They said they are grateful to lenders, Kiva and MUK for supporting their business. The group also has one new member.

The Sari Pertami group continues its loan. The total loan is 17,900,000 IDR. The group will continue its lending with the remaining members.

Ni Ketut sold eight pigs and earned a satisfactory profit. All profits were used to support the welfare of her family. Ni Ketut uses the loan to buy three superior-quality piglets and feed. Besides having a sow, these three piglets are managed for fattening. She hopes this effort will be more advanced and that she will get a satisfactory result so that she can be independent and continue the business with her own capital.

One member can’t attend the meeting due to a wedding ceremony.
