Irena's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for an urgent surgery of her daughter-in-law who suffers from an illness.

Irena's story

Irena's daughter-in-law is severely ill and has been scheduled for an urgent surgery that will take place in Greece, since doctors in Albania cannot take accountability for it.

To pay for the procedure and other medical and clinical expenses she needs money and this is why she is applying for this loan in hope, that lenders will help her out.

Irena is 56 and their family lives in a village that is not very fertile, in many ways, since is situated in the mountain. The activity that she's been pursuing for the past 20 years, has been agricultural one. Irena's family owns about 10 dynyms of land and she rents from others about 10 more dynyms for $403/year. Potatoes, corn, leeks, wheat and fodder are some of the produce she plants the most. The annual earnings from fodder are $846, potatoes-$1200/year, corn-$1500/year and leeks $725/year. While the wheat is used for the family consumption and there are no earnings from it, there are expenses though of $200/year.
