Sokol's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to enhance their dairy nutrients by adding a cow; currently, they have no animals.

Sokol's story

Sokol is 46 and an Egyptian Albanian married man with two children, 22 and 20. He does agriculture as a source of living. His family lives in the country and they own about 12 dynym of agricultural land, where they plant mostly wheat and fodder for his horse that he uses it for transportation and for a horse-drawn carriage. His annual earnings are approximately $2500; his wife does seasonal labour work from April till September month for a pay of $1200/season; and also his elderly mother who lives with them receives a monthly retirement pension of $57.

Sokol wants to buy a dairy cow with this loan, since they have no animals and they lack dairy nutrients."We can't afford buying dairy and at the same time we lack such nutrients. This is why we thought of adding a cow, since we have land to plant feed for it," said Sokol to the loan officer who visited him, while he was taking his horse out of the stable.
