Edith Elena's story
Edith is a single mother with a dependent daughter, who lives with her mother. She has training as a hair stylist and manicurist, an activity that she wishes to undertake to meet her family's needs and to provide a better quality of life for her daughter. She has a lot of knowledge in this area, so she needs the help to be able to move forward in her work. She has struggled a lot to be able to complete her training. When she had her daughter at a very young age, she was not able to continue her studies and had felt like she had completely failed. But, she has someone to fight for: her daughter, who gave her the strength to return to her studies. In the beginning, she started helping in a beauty salon, where she learned the basics of the work. Later, she searched for a way to specialize in beauty salon services. By now, she has the desire to open her business, and that way become independent and and succeed with her daughter, who is the strength that inspires her to not fall behind, and continue to fight for her dreams and to instill in her daughter a better way of thinking and doctrine.
