Nurgul's story

Nurgul is 49, married, and a mother of three. She has a university education and earns income for her family by raising livestock and planting crops. Thanks to her hard work, she currently has seven cows and a 1.35 hectare plot of land where she grows organic barley to sell to wholesalers. Her monthly income is around 25,000 som (KGS). Nurgul tries to invest her profits in business expansion. She applied for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) with Bai-Tushum Bank to buy four young bulls and twenty sheep to fatten and resell. Nurgul plans to increase her business profits and purchase a car for the family.
