Sheilla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for university fees.

Sheilla's story

Sheilla is a lady of integrity. She is 23 years old, single and the firstborn of two. She was brought up in a rural village by a single parent, but is now currently residing at Kebra slum in Nairobi on her own. She completed her secondary education with a grade of B- (minus).

She joined Digital Divide Date (DDD) Operations in 2013, a company that enables young, energetic youths from unable families to reach their destiny and achieve their ambitions via a work-study program where professional opportunities and higher education are granted to them. She is a beneficiary, but despite the scholarship that she gets from the company, it is not enough to pay for her school fees in the university level.

She is kindly and humbly requesting a loan to support her education of pursuing a bachelor of education in sciences (chemistry/biology). Sheilla’s vision after completing her studies is to teach the youths in the society the importance of education by tackling issues such as drug abuse and early school dropouts.
