Featured borrower, Aye (second from left), form Kyaut Sa Yint village, is married with one child. His dream is to support his son to obtain a university degree from the Government University. The family has been doing duck farming business for five years.

Pictured above are members from Kyaut Sa Yint village group, named Aye, Hla, Yin, Thuzar and Naung. This loan will help 35 villagers to purchase additional ducks and high quality animal feeds. Villagers have many years of duck-raising experience and they are hoping to expand their business and to increase the duck production rates in the future.

Duck farmers need to make sure that their ducks’ egg production rate is increasing. There are over 800 residents in this village which is located in the Ayeyarwaddy Delta Region in Myanmar, where the majority of villager's business is farming and fishing. Duck raising has recently become very popular in the rural areas in Myanmar.
