Adela's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a refrigerator for keeping her food fresh.

Adela's story

Adela continues with her business selling traditional food. She used the previous loan to buy furniture for her business. Her loan payments were punctual because she was able to tend to more customers which left her with more earnings. She currently cooks a greater quantity of food to meet demand. She buys in small quantities because she does not have a way to keep the food fresh.

This causes her problems because she needs more time to make the purchases which oftentimes delays her and loses customers. “We need to buy meat and other food wholesale to lower costs and to have the food on hand” she notes.

The success of her business is due to the demand that exists in the sector. Her business’s advantage is that the customers are continuous. The disadvantage is the lack of a refrigerator to keep the food fresh.

Her dream is to grow her business. She wishes to purchase a refrigerator. This is her second loan with the institution in the 10 years she has done this work.

It is for these reasons that Adela requests a loan to buy a refrigerator for keeping food fresh.
