Belkis is 45 year old and hails from Assin Fosu in the Central Region of Ghana. She is the group representative of Kristo Nti. She is at the middle in the group picture with the beautiful smile.

Belkis is married and has four children and all of them are in school. The eldest child is 17 years of age and the youngest child is 9 years.

Belkis operates a stationery store. She has been in business for the past 14 years. She sells all kinds of books and educational materials. Her stationery is largely patronized by people within her community and its surrounding villages.

Belkis takes utmost pride in her family, who mean everything to her. She is a visionary and practical business woman, and she plans to be a major distributor of both local and foreign books in the next four years.

Belkis is very optimistic about the future prospects of her business by meeting the educational needs of her people in her region and beyond. She is hopeful that the income she will earn in future from her stationery store investment will enable her to uplift the living standards of her family by supporting her husband to take their children to schools with better learning facilities.

Belkis needs additional working capital to add to her existing capital to enable her buy varieties of books to resell to her customers so as to meet her business aspirations. Belkis is most grateful to all her micro-lenders for their generous support.
