Gulbaira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one steer and three dairy cows in order to increase her herd and the volume of organic milk sales.

Gulbaira's story

Gulbaira is 28 years old and married; together with her spouse, she is raising 2 sons and 2 daughters. Gulbaira has a secondary education; she is responsible, economical, and calm. As the primary income for her family, Gulbaira began keeping livestock 9 years ago. Thanks to Gulbaira's hard work, her holdings currently include 4 cows and 20 sheep, and she sells organic milk. On 6 hectares of land, she grows barley both for sale and for personal consumption. Her monthly income is around 17,000 som (KGS). With the goal of further developing her farm, Gulbaira turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of 3 dairy cows in order to increase the volume of organic milk she is able to produce, as well as 1 steer to increase the size of her herd. Gulbaira plans to invest the income from her loan into further increasing her number of farm animals, and plans to save funds for the construction of a spacious barn for her livestock.
